How it works

Step 1:
Renewable Guard interfaces with your project finance team to understand the insurance coverage needs for your closing, based on project and/or portfolio characteristics. Using our proprietary system of closing checklists, Renewable Guard determines the best path forward to minimize pain points.

Step 2:
After determining “what” is needed for the project finance closing, Renewable Guard will then reach out preemptively to your financing parties’ insurance consultant of choice. We provide all coverage and project details needed to help close out the due diligence items. In addition, Renewable Guard will ensure that the insurance requirement provisions are commercial and do not unduly burden future coverage placements.

Step 3:
Once the insurance due diligence items are provided and insurance requirement provisions are agreed upon, Renewable Guard will follow up with the insurance consultant to keep the closing cadence in order. On top of on-time closings, Renewable Guard ensures the waiver process is minimized or reduced all together for future compliance.
